Why the right hand of God? Inspired by Psalm 118:16: “The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.” The right hand of God is the hand of blessing. It is considered to be holy, powerful and sacred.
· We are hand-picked by God and set apart for good works. Therefore wherever his mighty right hand ‘pours’ us out or sends us, we shine our light.
- · Why the UK and Ireland? Inspired by Deuteronomy 11:24: ”Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours:”. We believe we’ve been strategically placed in the UK and Ireland for such a time as this. Revival is already here.

Why the shining lights all over UK and Ireland? Inspired by Matthew 5:14: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
Therefore, when we become born again, we become the light in our villages, towns, cities and communities all over the UK and Ireland and we SHINE OUR LIGHTS BRIGHTLY as we share the gospel of Christ with all who we meet.
This year Alpha and Omega has partnered with Shineyourlight.org.uk to launch our very first 'SHINE YOUR LIGHT' T-SHIRT.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to shineyourlight.org.uk 's vision for the advancement of the kingdom of God in the United Kingdom.
